It’s no wonder she finished the SCAHA season as #1 Goalie in the Bantam B Division. Mission Viejo’s goalie Amy Hogan has been playing hockey since she was 3. This season Hogan played ice hockey for the Lady Ducks along with OCHC and played roller hockey for Tesoro High School and a club team called Delta Force Elite to keep her skills sharp.

Hogan chose to play for Coach Nick Silver's OCHC Bantam B as she was playing pick-up hockey at Aliso Viejo with some hockey friends, and met OC Hockey Coach Joe Hunter who obviously liked her game. Choosing to play for the team turned out to be a good decision as she helped them to first place in the division.

Helping OC Hockey to an impressive 13-1-2 SCAHA record,
Hogan played 10 games, faced 81 shots and blocked 74. Only letting in 7 goals this season, Hogan's save percent was best in the division at .913%, slightly ahead of teammate Gabriel Cognac

The winning combination of superb net minding, strong defense and a powerhouse offense, led her team to a SCAHA Championship game against the talented Desert Blaze.

Hogan's OC Hockey Bantam B team had 3 of the top scorers in the division, Taavi TaageperaJohn J III Dwyer and Thomas FerryHogan told us, “It has been so much fun playing on this team! It is always great to win, but it is especially fun with this team because they really work together! In fact, I owe a lot of my success to my awesome defense!”
